I have been slowly building a new hidden server to replace the current Expert server. The majority of the settings will be the same and plugins will remain to keep with the style of play I've tried to create on the expert server. The big difference is that I'm completely removing Mani Admin and event-scripts. I'm only using sourcemod and attached plugins to try and improve performance and reliability.

At this point, I"m about 80% complete with the server. It is online and playable at this point, but only has the default maps. admin is active for those that have admin.

Please try it out and provide feedback on what works, what doesn't work, and what needs to be adjusted.

I haven't actually played on the server yet, so I know there is a lot of tweaking I need to do ingame. Once we get this server up to par, I will be replacing the reg expert server with this server, and then work on a re-done beginner server.

One big problem when the server goes to change maps it doesnt change it resets the server not sure why.

RTV isnt working it may not be set up.

The sound affects with the mirror damage are off.

The hidden tracker is working on this server it didnt work on the other 2 servers may be somethin to do with mani or ES on the other 2 servers.

thats all I see right now its running good just need to get the custom maps up and its good to go.

I have one suggestion about the amount of times you get to be hidden if you win you have it at 3 on all the servers alot of the time you will have one maybe 2 good players in the server with alot of new players the good players can take thier time every round being hidden killing everyone 3 rounds straight not really giving the new players or anyone else a chance at being hidden most of the new players will just get pissed and leave its not much fun when one person is hidden allmost every round for the whole map. Maybe consider bringing it to 2 or 1 it may help out on some of that.

It's an expert server. It is not for "new players." It is not made to give you a chance. It is part of the game.

expert server I'll leave at 3. the beginner has its own set of check and balances to prevent an overwhelmingly good hidden from playing although i may consider knocking it down to 2.

I'm not going to change the expert server because i played on another server that only has 1 round as hidden, and it kept making me mad when i would win a round and not be able to play again as hidden.

The server seems to be running good and stable when we going to get the custom maps up on it?

oh and another thing, the anti-camp slap mod isn't really working out too good. It isn't stopping people from camping and it actually is very annoying. I can't even stay still to look for the hidden with out getting slapped for 20 damage. And for those who need to go afk for a few seconds it is a deadly trap :frusty:

I think thats the point of it to not sit and look for the hidden in one spot its easyer to spot the hidden when your standing still this is why many people camp I like this anit camp script it keeps you moving and makes the game more exciting rather than just standin around witch is boaring.

You still have enough time to stop for a sec look around for hidden and move on thats the way it should be.

well I still try to avoid playing there as much as possible when i can. I think the 1 Expert server is perfect <3

I'd remove "H:SM - Hidden Spectator" (1.1.3) by Paegus. It crashes all admins when two admins spec the hidden at once. Also, instead of an anti-camp slap you could give the hidden a pipe bomb when someone camps for say, 30 secs.

listen to sniper on the anti-camp thing. The pipebombs work really well on darkhands.

And the anti-camp slap plugin is getting out of hand. I can't even walk away from spawn without getting slapped for 20 hp within 3 seconds of the round start. It also makes typing a pain for those without mics.

I noticed that the server fails to change maps when switching to hdn_decay, and just loads hdn_stalkyard instead. Is this running on a Windows server by any chance? hdn_decay only works on Linux servers.

there's been....problems, with decay. It crashes the server everytime it loads. It needs to be taken off the map lists

That's a shame, it's such a kickass map..
