CSDM Server Lag

I was chatting with Crypto yesterday and he said our new server on the CSDM is lagging pretty bad. He said his pings are a lot worse than the old servers.. any clue why this is happening?

old server was in texas mid point of the usa to everyone new one is in Iowa so west cost is gettin higher pings we are working on it

by the end of next month, pings will drop by about 24ms. that will be the best I can do. If its still to high for most people, or we don't rebound with players by November, I'm more then likely pulling the plug.

server is where I work in Iowa, everything is routed through Chicago before hitting the rest of the world. there is a 24ms delay between the 2. We have a new DC in Chicago that I am sending my server to. I'm just waiting for one of our employees to make a trip between the 2 so they can transport for me.

i don't really know how it all works but will it mean a new set of ip's or just a new location with old ip's?

not the annoying ones that pop up every 2 seconds, but maybe every 5 minutes, in a white tsay
