I found this wonderful software where I am able to go on a customers computer and do maintenance and repairs. Also they offer the ability to have a backdoor into their system, with the customers permission. So you can log onto their computer at anytime, as long as they don't change their login password.

So I have been thinking and talking to others. That this seems like a great business model. I could do monthly maintenance for a charge, paid to my paypal account. Plus if they have hardware issues, I could make a service call.

I am thinking about putting together a contract, with scope of work, what I am offering, for how much, and how payment is made. Also my responsibility in repair. I have never seen any repair warranties or agreements. Does anyone have any ideas.

There are already companies out there that do this type of service. Its nothing new, just not well known.

I also know a a couple of people that do this as a personal home business as well. The biggest issue is proving that you are a credible person and that you won't come back later on and screw up their computer.:ranger:
