I have been with a microphone headset arrangement for a long time. I finally stepped on my inexpensive Sony headphones. So I did some research and purchased this one. I hope I made the correct decision. I did not want to spend 60 to 70 dollars, so I got a good deal on this one from amazon.com. All the feedback was excellent.
Any comments?:ranger:

The ear piece folds nicely around the ear. The stereophonic reproduction is beautify. I have testing the microphone and was told that it has good pickup. I am shocked for such an inexpensive price, I finally have a nice headset with microphone.
There was no volume switch, but you can purchase one. It is a Koss volume switch with additional wire extension.
I have worn the headset for an hour now and there is no discomfort. Amazon actually stocks this and I got it in a few days.

I may have to look into that. This AltecLansing headset causes my ears to ache after about 30 minutes, so I have to readjust them a lot. Additionally, while they have "surround sound", that function uses 2 AAA batteries and, while it makes the sound production much better, it eats those batteries insanely fast and starts having a 'buzz' in the background within 10 minutes of new batteries.
*edit* Interesting, a little of research and it apparently has some sort of lifetime warranty. For $35/less, that's a pretty damn good deal. Granted, these AL have something oddball like a 25-year warranty but for the ~$15 they cost me (at 75% reduction at Best Buy, yay coupon loopholes/lazy cashiers), I don't think I would care about replacing them.
