Im really interested in those Raid-0 SSD's you have Zander. If you have the time please run the benchmark:stoner:

Zander, I doubt your achievement in burst speed was because you updated to IMSC v8.2. I'm very sure it had something to do with "volume write-back cache" being enabled. This can cause a dramatic increase in burst speed in benchmarks and is really an improper way to benchmark since it's extremely random. Disabled, it is much more consistent for the drive to function. If you go into the IMSC, click on view and make sure you are in advanced mode, right click your raid 0 array and click 'disable volume write-back cache', you should see more realistic numbers in your benchmark.

yes i agree that the write back cache is the reason for the unrealistic jump(s) but i was unable to the cache enabled prior to the imsc update..
so actually the results in burst speed are due to the imsc 8.2 update ( as seeing how i was not able to enable it prior to this update...
I understand the actual throughput is not going to be 1700+ etc..
which version did u have before? I had v7.8 until i saw you post of the new version, but i was able to enable/disable it in 7.8.
