Server Raids!

ok guys, the servers have been lacking any1 playing on them. i vote that we do a server raid to bring in ppl and hopefully get those regs back that we had b4 the server switch.

i say that we make a day for each server/game and we raid the shit/fuck out of that server till its lagging couse of the population xD

sounds good to me. ive noticed that the cs servers have been dead more so then the DoD but then again we have had a lil more support for DoD for the past year or so. we need fresh blood in the cs servers...and some in the DoD wouldnt hurt either.

i mean that all ppl in the community that has CS/DoD get on a server of choosing and play there. last night tehre was 8 of us on and didnt do much but we need to have a good number of us for an extended amount of time.

i think there was only 1 time i actaully wanted to abuse her cuz she got way to mouthy.
all in good fun.

ok since i have atleast 6 ppl willing to do this we need to set up times and decide which servers.

hmmm, i can only play nights but some1 throw out a random date to raid, and im feeling that he hit the dust 24/7 server.

tuesday and wednesday are good for me.

any1 else have any suggestions.

i will vote "yes" for any idea which brings more ppl to our servers.also most of the new players scared of the high pings (more then 100)

The server will be dropping by about 25ms sometime in the next month, maybe 2. I'm having it moved to Chicago. Just waiting for a transport. It will be the same server, but the ips will be changing (again :() If this doesn't help to bring back our servers, I'll probably just close down 2F4F. I'm getting too frustrated trying to keep it going and everything I seem to do to help is backfiring.

still going to go through with the raid, just let us know when the servers are going to switch ips so we can give ppl a warning.

like make a marco on the server saying that the ip will change in the tsay slot or something.

But look at the bright side, we're moving it when we don't have people. Atleast we're not getting people and then moving it again. That would really suck. I know a server whose in bad shape because they moved their servers too many times.

One of the things they are doing is to have "fun nights". Low grav, Matrix mod, Just pump shotty and post a time. All the regulars can come online and play. Something like a Server Raid I guess.

matrix mod isnt so much as a mob but changning 1 of the server settings. i use to know the command i belive its an sv_ command but then again its been about 2 years since ive used that.

matrix = sv_airaccelerate +/- some #, yes? maybe not. that is fun sometimes but if you overdo it, it becomes impossible to shoot people. matrix in moderation is good.

and a special time for all that sounds good because i'm sure people would want to keep the old 2f4f rules but then on occasion mess around and all that good stuff.

when you search for servers on CS our servers are not listed... why is this so? Also b/4 we moved couldn't we have setup a redirect to the new servers? I have seen this done before..

stop using the Ip's
we have url's so that no matter what ip we give you will get to our servers.
