Well I figured out one more thing that wasn't clear to me so I figured I'd let everyone else know.

An Admin can give you infraction points. Depending on the number of points received you will get banned for a certain period of time. (Squirrl help me on this) but I know 3+ is at least a day. These infraction points stay with you for the desired length of time designated by the Admin--sort of a probation period.

Example: You spam to much and an Admin may give you 3 infraction points. 3 points is equal to ban of 24 hours of which you cannot post. These 3 points will also stay with you for some period of time even after the 24 hours is up.

If you get additionally infraction points for another reason while the previous ones have not yet expired, the punishment becomes harsher.

Example: After the spam ban, you still keep those infraction points and then make a rude remark about someone, and receive another 3 infraction points. because you are still in a probation period, the ban is harsher and usually longer.

I hope this adds to your knowledge of how infraction points work and you wont be like me and believe your banned for a month when the actually banning from posting was only a day or 2.

Have a nice day,

yes, i have been banned at least twice from these forums, one was only a few hours or something though and the other turned out to be a day.

squirrl (or another admin who might know this) do infraction points work the same way to admins? or because they are an admin, they cannot receive infraction points? I know this shouldnt matter because admins are suppose to be the trusted etc etc of the servers but im just wondering.

not sure, but an admin that non jokingly receives infraction points will lose admin privs.

The bans only get worse if they add up to the next level before you points fall off. Your points stick with you for a bit of time.
