Corrupt data2

No matter where I download lineage2_interlude_client.rar from I get the same problem. When trying to uncompress the files in the data2 I get a crc error for corrupt files. Tried keeping broken files and then installing anyway but upon booting the game it crashes. I have downloaded the game from atleast three different places including the teamspeak link with the exact same results. I have even tried uncompressing with win rar, win zip111, and 7zip with no luck. any suggestions?:wtf:

What version of winrar are you using? It certainly works well with my 3.51 version. If you are running a version other then 3.51 uninstall it and try 3.51. If this doesn't do the job it may be time to give your computer the works. Scan for Viruses, scan for spyware/maleware, defrag your hard drive, and scan your hard drive for errors. If that still doesn't fix the problem you may even want to scan your registry and run some memory tests to be sure you aren't having issues with your RAM. If you do all of this and it still doesn't work hey, at least your computer is running better.

On a serious note after the attempts you made you can be certain that the issue is on your end and not the lineage download or the uncompression software you are using. I know for a fact that the download in TS is not corrupt.

Another thing you may want to check on is after uninstallation of Lineage go through and make sure that all of the files and folders have actually been deleated.

the most common solution to this problem is update winRAR (odds are your version is older then what was used to compress it and winRAR isnt very backwards compatible). i currently have WinRAR Version 3.71 (http://files.filefront.com/WinRar+371zip/;9686440;/fileinfo.html) and it has extracted every file i have ever needed extracted. usually if its a hardware issue it will happen in regular game play of most games etc..

Yeah I even went as far as to reinstall windows. Still no luck same crc error when i uncompress. It goes all the way threw unzipping then when it hits 100% I get this crc error. Even using win rar 3.71. Thanks for the input but i'm frustrated and probaly won't mess around with this for few days.:dazed002:
