View Full Version : Overclocked my MX440 video card.

I found a CPU heatsink w/ fan. I modified it to fit my old MX440 video card.
Core clock speed was 250 now it is 375. It works great! ummm for an MX440 that is.

yeah overclocking! O.o how old is MX440 because ive never heard of it.

It was the very same video card used to edit the Charlie Caplin films back in the day. However they did not yet have sound cards. Which is why they were silent films.

But seriously I think it was one of the first good 128 meg cards.

muahahahah nice. what processor do you have in it, around a 200Mhz or something? i got one of those dino computers. my mom gets so frustrated at it, its the "family" computer. though other then my sister who has her own comp, they all use mine...

I'm not saing you souldnt not saying overclocking is the sole reasion.

Haha I didn't think anyone on here had a worse card than me. I had a radeon 9700pro that burned out so I'm using a 9550 now. BTW didn't the 9700 come out before the MX440?
