I am creating a dedicated web/mysql server to house 2frag4fun.com and all the backend mysql running around everywhere (and i do mean everywhere)

That being said, you may (or may not) notice some disruption in web access or admin privs while I move databases and redirect dns records and such. I will do what I can to minimize the effect on people. Hopefully, the only thing you will notice is a message saying the forum is down for about 5min when i move the forum db, and if you just happened to ban someone as i was transferring the ban db, it won't be saved. other then that, it should pass without any major downtime.

I don't have a specific time frame yet of when this will happen. I'm hoping tonight.

Everyone should notice a major boost in responsiveness of the website and affliated ban boards once I'm finished.

Yeah, so, long story short, the forum is working now.

i still have some more work to do on the servers, but that should be done later tonight.

so, i hate linux....

I tried "learning" and failed. although i did learn some stuff, it wasn't enough to get all the componets of 2f4f back together.

So....

I reinstalled centos5, and installed cpanel which does everything that i want for me. that was why the site was down for a couple hours this morning.

For all those missing their 2frag4fun.com emails, i will have those back shortly as well. I just need to finish testing stuff after the new reload.

yell out if you see any bugs.

yell out if you see any bugs.

I was searching through the ban board. I found the ban I wanted to view, clicked it, got this error message...

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'WHERE bid = 6418 ORDER BY date ASC' at line 1
