what admin mod does the cs:s server use?
and how do you access console?
me and jess were playin and couldn't get console, ~ didn't work for some reason and I couldn't find console in the options-keyboard menu.

umm i forget exactly how to do it but ya you have to go into the options some where and enable it.

I found the enable command for console. It's in options-keyboard. Click the advanced tab and select enable console for dev.

But what is the admin mod. I looked at HLSW and all I saw was that we have MetaMod, with 2 more mods. And help would be appreciated. Thanx.

Right now, the only admin plugin running on our source server is BAT. (basic admin tool) Silent set this up a while ago, and as of right now, he's the only admin on it. It does not tie into our current admin program.

I did a little bit of searching last night, and i found that there is an amx port for source in the making. and i also found that there is a 3rd party plugin for amxbans to work with source.

so, that means at some point, i need to work on trying to set that all up.

That might be a while. :(

I found this website that gave some commands. When I went back to the server, and used "admin" I got unknown command. Have admins been added to this server?

I would think it is if there was a need for it. As of right now most of us are very busy. Making it so that no one has time to run it. And not many people in the community have requested or asked about it.

Right now, we have just the 4 servers running. csdm, dod, and 2 hidden servers. At this point, I'm not going to add anything more to the mix. We've tried in the past, but haven't had the serverops and community dedicated to bringing up a new server. csdm has been around forever, and pretty much runs itself with the help of the admins policeing it., the dod server is struggleing, usually there are 1-2 actual players on, with evenings getting about a dozen. The 2 hidden server took off during the time I was dedicated to working with them and have remained popular in the small community. I'm happy to say that i've helped out 2 other servers get up and running, one of which has become just as, if not more popular then our 2f4f servers.

All of the Senior Ops of 2F4F have been taken over by real life, including myself. That being said, I'm not entirely sure myself how much longer 2f4f will remain up. I really hate to end 2f4f, but I myself do not have the time and dedication that I use to to continually update the servers and website.

For the next few months, you will probably see nothing new from 2f4f. I'll keep paying the bills for the server each month so long as people are playing, but if people start grumblin, or the servers empty out completely, then that will be the end.

I thank all of those that have givein their time and money to help support 2f4f over the past 4 years. It was a fun ride.
