I have now added dns records to the .com domain allowing for you to use servername.2frag4fun.com as the connection IP.

I will update the server ip list on the server stats page with the info.


both .net and .com will work.

Ah! Yeah. It's just we're putting new coversheets on all the TPS reports before they go out now. So if you could go ahead and try to remember to do that from now on, that'd be great. All right!

dns is the service that stores the ip info of a url.

url = www.2frag4fun.com csdm.2frag4fun.com host.domain.com etc.
ip = 127.0.0.1 192.168.1.1 74.200.210.100


whenever you type in a url into the address bar, It asks a dns server what the ip is for that name. the server responds and your computer is directed to that ip. Its just like calling 411 every time you want to call someone on the phone.
