I will be taking the server offline sometime Sunday evening. It will be making its journey to Chicago on Monday and hopefully back online on Monday. Ip's will be changing. Everone that uses TeamSpeak.

USE TS.2FRAG4FUN.NET as the connection ip and it will auto connect you to the new ip once its back online.

Same thing is true with the servers. if you use the following as the connection ip, it will automatically connect you to the appropriate server.

csgun1.2frag4fun.net
csgun2.2frag4fun.net
dod.1frag4fun.net
dodwc3.2frag4fun.net
css.2frag4fun.net
ts.2frag4fun.netLike I have mentioned before and no one listens, our game box is .net our website is.com. Same great community, just different domains since I don't actually control the .com name (yet). Therefore, by using the csdm.2frag4fun.net in place of the actual ip will allow you to connect to our server.

This will knock off atleast another 24ms to everyone's ping. This should also put us back towards the top of the server list to most people thus getting more players again.

Has it been moved yet?

We were playing today. Me, Rekless (without the C), Crypto, Slander, 300, Bal, Sharpie (414) and umm.. we did get a few people whom atleast I don't know ( i don't think they were other people's friends either. )

If the server thing did happen, I really couldn't feel a change, neither could anyone else who I was talking to.

So if you could tell us if you guys moved or not, it'd be great. thnx.

i so totally forgot today was sunday...which is the day of the move.
but like evil said...i didn't feel anything...but i was a bit laggy...which is just me..im laggy everywhere i go. but can't wait!

to get lower pings could be great! right now we're having 100-115.with 40-60 pings we may repopulate our servers quickly.

It hasnt moved yet. I will be taking it offline in a couple hours from now. It won't actually be leaving until 7am monday morning so i've been waiting on taking it offline to minimize downtime.

I'll make a post when its back online. should be about 12 hrs from now. (give or take 3 hrs.

i just noticed something, because the banner up top is obtained from the 2frag4fun.net, when the banner works again, wouldn't the server be back up with correct .net address? i hear we are getting closer, so ill hit refresh every now and then.

web services will start up automatically, but i will still have to go through and reconfig/start the game servers.

Server is back online. Primary stuff is done. i still have more configs to adjust. I'll do that later tonight though. I am technically at work with other things I need to do.
